Gentlemen, a Roscoe, borrowing from the magnificent staple grown where our fine Georgia brethren reside, is like a Vidalia onion. Remarkable on the surface, but you must peel away the layers, one by one, to get to the truly delicious stuff.

Initial impressions....
This bass is. B.A.D. A.S.S. Just wow! No opportunity to plug it in until tonight, but man...acoustically, it's all in there! Incredibly light weight, and perfect balance on a strap. Playability is...well, it's a Roscoe, need I say more?

It's ash, just from a slightly different billet. The outsides are slip-matched from the same board.
Fellas, it's obvious that Jerry has far too many basses for one man, hence he needs to give me one for good Karma.

I've seen some nice bubinga before (Joe Zon has some sick stuff). That is crazy gorgeous. I'm not a 6-string or a JJ guy, but frankly this bass has me jealous of Jerry at this point. Well for something other than his brutally good looks

No need to give me a bass Jerry, Shauna would kick me out and I'd have to find a TB'er Roscoe head where I could crash. Come to think of it, Andy Brown from RI is a newbie...... 
And those "quick pics" you took are great. Don't even tell me you took them at work on the iPhone. So jealous of your photo / music chops.

BTW- I got my daughter an iPad 2 instead of the DSLR for her birthday, I think is was the better choice.

Ahh, youse guys are too kind. All the credit goes to my trusty Nikon w/ their 35mm f/1.8 lens...the same one Rodney mentioned in a thread long ago and far away. Any good stuff photo related is courtesy of Nikon, just like any good music stuff comes to you via Roscoe.
