New Bass Day (Stingray)!!

Just got this in a trade with a fellow TBer. 2000 EBMM Stingray, black sparkle with maple board and matching headstock. 3 band eq. I'm in love! :D:D I just got a SBMM Ray34 a few weeks ago, and absolutely love that bass (still do), and it only solidified my desire for a true Stingray. This has been the bass I've wanted since before I even played bass. All my favorite bands were using it, it sounds amazing, looks amazing, so on and so on... Unfortunately I live in an apartment, so I'm stuck playing it through my crappy headphone amp at the moment, but this weekend I'll be taking it to my gf's and using my amp, so I'll get to hear her sing out loud!

Without further ado, here are the excessive photos:

And one shot of the Stingray and Ray34 together

The finish looks amazing in person. It's hard to capture in photos. Without enough light it looks flat, with too much light and it seems a lot more flashy than it is. It's the perfect level of subtle and flash imo. I haven't had enough time with it to compare the two basses to build a preference. I'm more familiar with the Ray34 since I've had it longer, but after getting this set up the way I like it, I'm very quickly becoming accustom to the Stingray and can easily see this being my favorite bass. What an incredibly solid bass though!
