Those are some really nice basses, OP. Quite a collection, I think the mystery surrounding those "Japanese luthier-made" basses adds to their charm.

In December, I purchased a new Gothic bass from an unknown Japanese luthier.
I have since added a 5 string tenor (E-A-D-G-C) by the same luthier:
