New Bass!!

Yes, classy is the right word. :cool:

How does the neck feel in the hand? I've heard the yamaha profile is on the rounder chubby side as opposed to Lakland flat. True?

It's got a little meat to it, but not too much. I have a 1970 P-Bass - now that has some chunk to the neck. This Yamaha profile is quite comfortable.

Wow!! That's a beauty Mark!! Congrats!! I expect to see it at the next GTG!! BTW-pics are only half of the prerequisite...we need soundclips!! Haha!!
Hope all is well bro!!!
Steve

Thanks Steve! I'll bring it! And I am recording with it on Thursday, I'll try to remember to solo some tracks to put up.

Congrats on the Latin Grammy's!

Found the picture:bassist::).

so im a fender guy and im not typically into Yamahas and i have been avoiding posting in here. but this being about my 20th time popping in and staring i just gotta say WOW. i love white sleek basses. i love staggered individual string bridges. i love 5s with blocks and i especially love love love ebony boards (must be my love of les paul customs)

not being a fan of the brand let me tell you this bass has swagger. great score and congrats. i hope it treast you as well as i imagine it will

I think these hover in the $2300 range new and around $1600 used. Definitely not a cheap bass by any means!

The bass belonged to Lats Kearns from the band "Memento" (personally never heard of them...)

What? You've got an original bass formerly owned by Lats Kearns of "Memento" and the bass is totally WHITE and you didn't bother to get this major Yammy endorser to take a big black magic marker and personally autograph the front of this bass?

Shame on you!

:hiding:

(superb looking bass though)
