true.but since my country's in 'grey area'(politically,economically....name it),we don't have ANY kind of licenced agreement with net sales sites (e bay,etc),
meaning-customs and other 'third parties' are taking A LOT of the cake....i.e. I ordered 'george l's efx kit'(60 bucks on amazon.com),but had to pay total of 130 bucks:scowl::scowl:
and I contacted thomann's,but it seems that shippin' and everything puts the price way up....and I'd have to pay around 100 euros for any behringer pedal-which is way too much:scowl:
aaah...
anyways,if anyone of you guys had some exp. with the behringer harmonizer,I would like some info-hence I'm rlly thinkin' of orderin' n' rehousing it...

+1 on the VT999

Metal housing. Very solid construction. 3 band EQ with gate, gain, and master with a 12ax7 at the center of it. Runs on a standard 9V adapter. You can get some really good tones out of it. The 3 band EQ makes this pedal. Scoop the mids. BOOST the bass. This pedal cranks.

Cons: I wish they would make it smaller, like the VT911, because the internals are mostly empty space... I guess they do that so the tube can cool easier.

Con (or plus, doypov): Be prepared to swap out the tube. Different tubes will give you different sounds and really affect the tone. I tried a 12au7 in it once, and it was LOUD (never figured that one out, as an au7 is 1/10th the gain of an ax7...)

Part of that issue is quality. Behringer is notorious for having standards well below the rest of the industry so you'll see more pedals with some sort of issue. Certainly not always the case and one pedal that I will say is "good" is the BSY-600 bass synth. There's a lot of useable sounds packed into it plus it gives you an expression pedal jack which doubles its usefulness. I haven't had any other pedals of theirs though but have owned other gear (pa, etc.).

No, what I see mostly is people saying "Just got my Behringer pedal. It has a plastic case so it will probably break." Yet to hear of someone actually breaking one under normal circumstances, though.

Personally, I play at a few pubs with no stages and my two Behringer pedals (a tuner and EQ) have had beer spilt on, they've been trodded on by people dancing too close to the band, and just haven't been treated all that well. But, no breakages and they both work fine.

These are pedals for players, not gear snobs.

I just bought some new plumbing pipe for my kitchen sink. It's plastic, so it will probably break. I should probably have sprung for the more costly metal pipe, even though they will both do the same thing.

:D

My BEQ700 Bass EQ continues to work, 6 years and running now. Not too bad for a plastic case.

A friend of a friend's uncle's mate's workmate had one of these pedals and when it was removed from its packaging it spontaneously burst into flames, revealing a small German robot that stole the blueprints to my piece of high-end gear and then beamed it the mothership.

Honestly, you're better off spending $80000 on the real deall instead of $30 on this.
