NEW BERG THREAD - Old Berg and Accugroove thread closed.

We all want a huge review Mike!!

I have an HT322 and it's the bees knees! I'll be adding another HT322 ontop of the one I already use if I ever need it. Down the road if and when I step up to a tubier preamp or a valve head I'll be GASin for a NV610.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Jim isn't going to be using Neo magnets, right? If he did he'd have my business in a heartbeat just from owning the HT115 and HT322 cabs.

Hope that NV cab works out for you Mike. I have a 425 and love it. Wish I had a louder amp for it though. What amp are you planning on using?

Would you mind sharing what happened in the other thread?

Going to try out a WT-1205 Eden sent me, a DB750, as well as pres (RBI, DB659 and Ampeg SVPCL) through the power section of the Eden. Should be interesting.

Man, I don't want the bees knees. I want the cats azz! LOL

Not sure about a "huge review". I will definitely give a review but Tom Bowlus I am not. ;) Tom is a unique cat and a great resource.

Ask Tom about the Neo thang but I am pretty sure I heard the same thing.

Nope. But have two coming anyway. Too many trusted people have told me that based on what I am looking for, that NV's are it. Besides, they aren't going to be available anymore soon.

Cool, and it's a shame... the NV215 is a cab I'd like to own (yes I secretely want to be like Tom B ;) )

DEVILMAN: That is a beautiful thing! I've got to head up to the check you out live! Hopefully I'll be playing up that way soon myself.

Also I have the NV-215 and have heard the NV-610 And they do not sound anything like Any other sealed cab I have heard. They are far More articulate(much more open throughout their frequency range) These cabs are Tight and fast but still deep like the old school sound But with much more clarity and definition of individual notes and changes in tone from playing style changes. They thump and grind like old school but with clarity and definition like modern cabs but the bergs retain the soul/funk.

Berg HT 210 and NV 610 here, with a Mesa 400+. The two cabs cover any and every tone I will ever want, including the awesomeness they get when used together. The only things I gas for in the cab dept. are the NV 215 and HT 322 (OK, well maybe a Schroeder and Aggie 412, but only after the Bergs). Also on the Neo thing, Bergantino is not currently using Neos, nor has he announced anything about em. Maybe someday he will though.

Man, i'd love to grab a NV215, but it sounds like i'd either have to find one used or lock Jim B. in my basement and force him to make me one! My second choice from him for the "Big Rig" is now the IP310 (maybe the 2x12 depending on the depth to punch ratio). But it's competing with a DB750+Aggie 412, pre/power+A pair of Acme B4s, and pre/power+pair of HT322s.

If anyone has any advice, PM me so mike doesn't come beat me with a sadowsky for hijacking his thread :D

I'd NEVER..... put my Sadowsky's at risk of being damaged by your thick skull. I'll use one of your inferior basses on ya! ;)
