I couldn't resist, my CN212 arrived today. I've been using an Epifani UL310 (series 1) for years. I recently sold my AE212, since it literally got no use. Then I started following this thread. I do disagree with many here. Much of the consensus seems to be this cab shines in a mix, but not so much soloed. I only got to try it today for about 10 minutes, and truthfully, with my TH500 it sounds amazing at home. This may just kick my UL310 to the curb. A couple of questions if I may- Has anyone ever put casters, removable or fixed, on a cabinet with this profile? (HD AE 212) My gear lives in a trailer between gigs. EVERYTHING in that trailer is on wheels. I could bring a cart, but that would seem to defeat the purpose. Also, what the hell is that smell coming from the tolex???? Whew, MAJOR, I mean MAJOR stink.

Very interested in your feedback about the CN212 ....especially since you had an AE212 and let that go ...but enjoy the Epi UL310 ..which is a very nice small cab that plays reasonably big! Keep us posted please!
I'll be honest, I loved the AE212! The down side was I only used it 4 times in the 2 years I owned it. As I mentioned, I've been using my Epifani UL310 exclusively. It's a very nice box, easy to move, sounds good, and has a nice spot in the trailer in which it fits. I have very good FOH Pa support 100% of the time, so I never need the cabinet to carry the room. The times I did bring out the AE, 3 were outside, and I was using it with a GK Fusion. The combination sounded amazing!! The other time was inside, and I felt it was overkill as far as moving an extra box. WITH ALL THAT SAID, 
all this CN212 has been killing me, so I took the plunge. If it performs anything like the initial indication, the UL310, might be the odd man out. I'll report back after a gig or two. Still would like to know about the casters though.....

Doesn't seem like a good form factor for casters. Too tall and skinny. Casters would be close together and not provide a very stable base for the height of the the cab.
Maybe if you went with a road case of some kind?
You could make up a dolly for it. Just grab a piece of plywood with the dimensions of the bottom of the cab, and put the casters on that. Then use a ratchet tie down strap to hold the dolly and cab together. Good way to test out casters without modifying the cab.
The case is definitely out. It would weigh much more than the cabinet. The weight was a huge selling point for me.

I put casters on my AE212, hundreds of gigs later, no problem except caster wear. I'm old, everything has wheels.

While IMO the narrow, tall configuration of the AE212 and CN212 isn't optimal for wheels, especially if you are putting stuff on top when wheeling in, it surely would work 'OK' in your case (wheeling the cab by itself from the truck to the club). I would highly recommend the 'plate castor' design.... sturdy, removable, and you don't need to drill holes in your cab like with the traditional removable castor designs. Should work fine, and takes 5 minutes to install. I believe Jim sells them, and you can find them at speaker hardware sites on-line. That being said, not much real estate for repositioning the rubber feet with removable castors.
Of course, if you plan on never taking the wheels off, head to Home Depot for the standard castors.
As a former 310UL user, I would guess that one won't be around for long compared to the CN212.
That is what I would do. He could get away with a cheap cart like that, and it wouldn't really be much more hassle than the wheels. Simple, cheap, and you don't have to modify the cab. Just going for a band van to a club through the typical parking lot wouldn't even need for the cab to be strapped on, if you are careful.
Oh I'm careful, but to the point of bordering on being fanatical about it.
Oh. One other thing unrelated. I noticed my ShuttleMax rotating about 1/8 turn counterclockwise each set on my CN212. I bought a roll of Con-Tact Brand Grip Premium Liner in black at Home Depot. I cut a piece to the top of the CN212 and placed it there-- no adhesive. No more rotation of the ShuttleMax on the cab with that liner.
My schlep. Kart-a-bag Super 600, head, stand on top of cab. I can easily walk many blocks with this set-up, easily go over curbs and up a few steps, etc. Super sturdy, and a one hander! Bass on my back. Wonderful for big city freelancing, which is what I do! (i.e., often difficult load ins, parking difficult to get close to the gig, always responsible of my own gear with no help... ever).
Dream schlep with the CN212/AE212.
The OP is in a bit of a different situation though, with everything in a truck and 'group load in'.
Amazing these days that that little rig can do any gig I'd ever need to do! That 'efficiency' in the schlep really makes a difference if you have to walk three blocks to your car at 1 o'clock in the morning!
The other nice thing about cabs like the CN112, the AE212, etc. are that they are 'full sized cabs' with very basic, tried and true design. I went down the path of the 'super small box crammed with drivers' a while back, and while the volume performance was amazing, I always felt like I was giving a bit up down low, and in overall 'even' tone and throw into the room. These 'full size' but very lightweight boxes, once you get them on a little cart, are just as easy to schlep and lift and carry for short distances, and sound like big, full range cabs IMO. Took the whole 'modular' thing (been there, done that), with the extra pieces and extra cost off the table for me. Simple, simple, simple!!! IMO!
When I do a REALLY small gig, my beloved AE210v gets the call. Still love that cab!
What I'm thinking of doing is selling my Mark Bass Mini CMD 121 combo amp and 121 extension cab and getting a CN212, which I'd use with my GB Streamliner 900 for practice and small and many medium-size gigs. I've enjoyed the Markbass rig a lot, but I think the Streamliner/CN212 would be an improvement for these applications. Still on the fence, but leaning that way.
Interesting idea. I also have that same MB CMD121/NY121 stack and I'm not using it. But there are times when the CMD121 combo all by itself is just so perfect for grab n go rehearsals etc. I don't want to let that go. Oh well. ...And if I keep the CMD121, the NY121 is the ideal compliment. Dang. Not sure I can justify letting that rig go ....But I've been trying to think about how I can fund a CN212 also! I'm sure the CN212 and a good microhead like your Streamliner or any number of microheads would kill the CMD121/NY121 stack. But the MB stack is just sooooo portable and convenient! You know? Tough call. ...or is it?
LOL. Sounds like we are in the same boat! I feel the same about the grab-n-go combo amp. And it's been a sweet little rig... Is the difference worth it?... I think I know the answer. 
But I'm gonna sleep on this just a little while longer to make sure before I take the plunge.

I know we're going to start seeing more of these come up on the used market in a couple/few months - no matter how great something is, that's just the nature of things and seems to happen with every next best thing - but I sure wish that time was now! Man, I just can't shell out the dough to buy a new one, and only yesterday found out that Berg pricing is totally non-negotiable with retailers. I'm pretty much waiting for one of about 3 things to come on the used market, all of which I think I'll like a lot, and will pounce on the first one to be feasible!
I did turn up my ShuttleMAX 9.2 pretty loud through the CN212 when I tried it out, and couldn't quite get into farting territory. My embarrassment level kicked in due to playing so damn loud before the speakers gave out, so that's a pretty good sign! I'm not only looking for something that can be a 1CS for small to med gigs, but for some to most large ones, as well. This cab could fit the bill...
