New brand!!! Faber

I find the bass interesting but the design could be improved (MY opinion!). To me, it would be more visually attractive if:

- the control plate were parallel to the strings. Maybe an even better solution would be to get rid of the control plate, move the jack to the side, and have the knobs lined perfectly parallel to the strings

- the headstock would be better. This looks like a cheap solution. And the curves of the headstock don't go well with the rectangular and pointy body. A square or pointy headstock would be much better.

I do not quite understand some of the reactions in this thread. Look what the original poster wrote:

Hey folks. Check this out and give your opinion!

Faber Paddle Bass

But what happens when people do give their opinion? Reactions like
Well, why dont you go ahead and design and build something totally new by your own?

So - do we want opinions yes or no?

To me, this Paddlebass looks like Steinberger and Pablo Picasso got together to build a cricket bat with strings. :p The electronic configuration seems very practical, though. Wonder how it actually feels and plays. Looks like it could have a balance issue, but that may just be the odd shape throwing me off...
