I almost used that name................til microsoft took it.kinetic, is my company. if i could call it that
it's a name that kinda stuck. has an energy behind it hah.
The neck dive is very minimal if at all there. the ultralights helped a lot with reducing that.
You probably don't want to use any word in the English language. I have a feeling that Microsoft will copyright that too.
to my knowledge there isn't a "Kinetic Instruments" in this world.

FWIW, a fair number of examples that I've seen seem to indicate that your business can have the same name as another business, as long as you're not in the same line of business.
E.g. Apple Bank and Apple Inc., Apple Computer and Apple Records (prior to an agreement that was made, Apple Computer was prevented from doing anything relating to the music business), many other examples.
If you click on the links...kinetic instruments looks like dental drills or somethin.
Oh yeah, I wasn't saying he couldn't use it. None of those first companies are big enough to have universal recognition. But when a company like MS names its latest and greatest product
Kinetic, it may present problems or could potentially be a good thing.
Cons,
legal issues?
when people google/search for you they may have to sift through pages and pages of unrelated stuff.
Pros,
when a major company puts out a product with the same name as your company searches for that word will go up big time potentially driving customers to your site who otherwise would've never known your company existed.
To the OP, don't take anything I say as an insult, I don't mean it that way. It was just funny that I was so close to using that name and then MS said they were going to call their new controller Kinetic. So I abandoned it and then I saw it here and had to inquire. Oh and MS has since changed the name to Kinect.
