New Building - Take 3

The unfinished warehouse space I showed previously is right through the door in this first pic.

Good Gosh I can't wait to wake up and go to work there!!! Is it May yet?!?

:bassist::hyper::bassist::hyper::bassist:

Nope, it's just under contract at the moment... we close the end of April.

Nice! I have a feeling I know where this place is :) I think we bought carpet for our basement here. Then the guy closed down a couple years ago and it's been something else for about a year now or so. If it's where I'm thinking - great location for signage and a lot of traffic to see your name! LOL

Yep, sounds like you know the spot!

You'd think there would be some nice signage potential given that there is already an enormous sign up on the building for the old company. But Blacksburg has clamped down on signage, they've got some pretty severe size restrictions now... :rollno::mad:

It'd be easier to change our name to "Blacksburg Floor Fashions" and leave the signage alone. :D:D:D

You guys should give each location it's own nickname, like the Mothership and Mission control!:hiding::D

LOL. We are (jokingly).

We've got a youngish instructor (25?) here who is pursuing a PhD in CS, and we keep telling him that he needs to drop all that fancy book learnin' and get in on the ground floor here at Rocket Music. Every day he comes in, I tell him the title of "Senior Vice President of CrapTown" is his for the taking.

Joking, of course. This current spot will revert to it's beginner roots ($300 and under instruments and amps, lessons galore) once we move all the boutique gear to the new location. CrapTown is just a funny way to refer to that. It makes fun of the quality of the gear, and it makes fun of us gear snobs, too. Two birds, one stone. :)

I'm not sure it would look great on a brochure or website, though... :rollno:

Bah! You just gotta color it up with eloquent language like "The Land of Enchanted Excrement" ;)

Bada boom! Parents will be bringing their kids in on the way to DisneyWhirl.;) Don't forget the giant chocolate flavored lollipops at $10 each.

Gotta have vision brother.:ninja:

:D

God Bless, Ray

Yeah, man! We might not be officially open to the public yet, but I'm sure we could show ya round. Hopefully most of the renovations will be in place or at least underway by then...

Gard's trying to swing a fun suprise, too, if we can work out all the details and do an official Grand Opening... :ninja::ninja::ninja:
