New Coyote fuzz from JHS!

I love bass the world, but most of the stuff I’ve bought because of their demos disappoints me. If a bass player I like uses it… more inclined to try it
I enjoy watching their videos, and I definitely believe he's a stand-up guy, but for me it's not a useful review, it's straight up gear porn. He gushes about everything he reviews. Which is cool. Clearly it's working for him. But I know going in I'm not going to get an honest take on the gear.

Yeah, I view it more as quick demos of some of what something does. If I like what I hear, I'll go elsewhere for longer reviews going though each knob/switch to get a deeper dive.

IfI don't like what I hear, I can cross the item off any list of something to check out. The upside here is getting to this conclusion pretty quickly because of how short their videos are.

I too really enjoy his channel and the players, but when I want to pick an overdrive or fuzz, it's The Wetter Bass. I had a few misses but man I love both the Kasleder Albatross and Jellyfish. I got the Albatross last, but man...the Jellyfish to give it a slight EQ and tubey-something last while letting the Albatross handle the dirt? I'm so happy.

Other people used the Albatross and I thought it was too fizzy - he was the only one who favored the blend towards the JFET preamp side with a good amount of fuzz thrown in(many of the others just put the blend all the way over to the fuzz and kept it there). That is exactly what I am hearing with my bass, and the opposite experience of so many pedal reviews on YT.

His 48 pedal shootout was also great.
