New Debat from the Ninja: Who would win Superman vs Thor?

Well...ok...yeah. But....that's usually how it goes isn't it?

Killer Croc. Superhuman strength, regenerative power, nearly impenetrable skin, enhanced smell, etc.

Bane. Venom is the equivalent of superpowers since it gives him superhuman stength and of course he actually broke Batman's back so he can fight and DOES his own fighting (well he HAS had henchmen but when it comes to batman he usually prefers fighting him)

Ra's al Ghul. no real superpowers aside that the lazarus pit make him immortal, but he rivals Batman in fighting skills.

That's just off the top of my head, there's more.

Clayface - shape-shifter with enhanced strength, extreme control over his body's composition, and can not only disguise himself as anybody or anything he wants, he can also form various body parts into lethal weapons.
Manbat-half man half bat hybrid, high strength, expert flyer, sonar.
Solomon Grundy- Undead zombie with super strength, resurrection power (he can be killed but he gets better).

As Milk said these are the three I came up with off the top of my head, and there are indeed even more.
It's apparent Duuuuuude is clueless about the Bat, with his mention of King Tut, he's quite obviously stuck in the 60's.

Yeah, I don't know much about Batman. I don't read DC. I've already spent a small fortune on Marvel. $20-$40 a week for years. Imagine if I doubled it by reading DC, too.

Where do I vote for Gorilla Grodd?

I think the best thing about DCUO (dc's online rpg which i played for over a year until my gf thankfully intervened and got me to see the pointlessness of it all) is that you're faced with Grodd every five seconds. Someone involved in the making of this game clearly wanted to make him a major threat.

Also, I'd missed the short implied Batman vs Iron man thing on the last page. C'mon guys, Batman, no contest.

For one, if Batman cared he could build himself a Iron man suit tomorrow. He just you know, doesn't really need it. Batman will disable Iron Man's suit in like 10 seconds (EMP or something) and then knock him out cold cause Stark can't really fight. At least nowhere near Bats level.

Of course you might be saying yeah but what if Batman gets no preparation and no gadgets. But the thing is Batman is good at improvising. Sure if you lock them in a perfectly empty room together, and Iron Man has the suit and batman has no gadgets, yeah Iron Man will win. But that's not really fair either because what is the Iron man suit if not the most expensive utility belt? And this is coming from a Marvel guy.

It's never been one or the other for me, I love both Marvel and DC, although I will admit DC has a favored place in my heart. Having said that, my two favorite heroes have always been Batman, and then the Hulk.

Indeed. That's why, like I said earlier, Superman, inarguably the most powerful person in the DC universe, has a healthy respect for Batman's abilities.

LOl, yeah GG really is a major threat, he just never broke out like he should have. He never worked his way out of the Flash series for a long time.
Thank god for girlfriends...

Batman & Spiderman for me. Although I have liked: Walt Simonson's run on Thor; Infantino's run on Flash; McFarlane's run on Incredible Hulk.
My kid loves everything Deadpool. Deadpool is hot right now I guess. Unfortunately I am not hip on what is current anymore.

Dr Strange is full of crap. First of all, the more pissed off Hulk gets the more powerful he becomes. So he has unlimited strength. Second, Hulk has regenerative powers. So he literally can't be killed. If you wanted to defeat Ghost Rider all you'd have to do is separate his head from his body so he couldn't see what his body was doing.

lol shows what you know about Ghost Rider....

most people never bothered to read past the 70's version of the comic character or get any education on the Brimstone biker past the movies...

Ghost Rider has superhuman strength and durability, the limit of which is un-revealed by Marvel; He has the ability to project and control Hellfire, which can sear the soul as well as burn the flesh. His Penance Stare forces victims to experience the pain and guilt of their own misdeeds. He is also immune to any mystical attacks that are specific to beings with living souls, and he is indestructible by non-mystical weapons.

In fact the only reason the Hulk Didn't have his ass handed to him in World War Hulk, was because Ghost Rider only avenges the innocent, and he did not deem the members of the Illuminati blameless for what they did to the Hulk.

and wow nobody addressed the fact that BATMAN beat the dog crap out of Superman in the Dark Knight returns...not only did he beat him, he humiliated him by making him always remember that a mere mortal brought him down and chose to let him live...all Batman had to do was squeeze....And he did it in his 60's no less...lol

Batman kicked Superman's ASS!!! With a little help from a one armed Green Arrow of course, and a little red headed girl...Kal deserved it though. I loved the contrast Millar drew between Wayne's ideology and Kal's. I mean, doesn't it piss u off that Kal has all that power yet kisses everyone's ass? It pissed off Bruce Wayne.
I wonder if the next Superman/Batman movie is going to go there? It needs to be done. It would make lots of money.
