new EB COBALT srings

Mine pretty much sound dead at this point. I think I got 2 weeks out of them before I get a "thump" out of the E and nothing more.....the high growl is pretty much gone. I took them off and cleaned them and I got 1 more gig out of them but then by the end of the night they were dead again. I took them off and back to prosteels again. If they lasted I could justify spending the extra money......but back to my cheaper prosteels I guess.

Found out this morning I'm giving birth to kidney stone(s). Hopefully soon, wish me luck.

Not fun at all. I have been using Rowatinex for my stones, you can pick it up at Amazon.com.

I think I am going to give these Cobalt's a try on my 5-string.
