New EBS Amp

I went to a concert lately with Danko Jones (Canadian band) where the bass player had a set-up with the new EBS Classic 450 head and their matching classic 810 cabinets. It sounded fantastic and looked great! Saw it on the EBS website as well: Link Removed

Anyone else seen it? Tried it?

Yeah, I've tried the Classic. It didn't impress me as much as the TD650

yeah The TD650 is a great sounding amp IMO

EBS's classic amps were designed as a cheaper line for EBS, as far as i'm aware.

I own the TD650 and it's truly superb amp.

Yes, he definitely "rocks" by all definitions. I just feel like every song is written by a part of his body other than his brain....

haha I've only seen them once and was quite impressed by the show, even though I'm not really a big fan of the music. He's a good front man and interacts well with the crowd

but the TD650 is almost double the money!

True but if you want the sound of the TD650 and aren't gonna be running it at 2ohms to get the full 600watts, then you should rather be looking at an HD350!

the Classic is a real great "modern vintage" amp, some people prefer it to the Fafner...
