New Eden Module Preamp - anybody seen this yet?

I did purchase a high quality filtered 18V power supply for this one and maybe that is why this one sounds clean.
For $200.00 the Tera Nova is a good, portable swiss army knife preamp/eq.
Abe Laborial is using one in the studio and it seems to work well for him.

Do you still have the original power supply? Can you test if it makes any difference?

I found a much higher medical quality 18V Switching power supply online at Mouser:

I just got this and based on one evening comparison with the old WTDI, to my ears this is a step up in all aspects. Much more usable with the effect loop, switchable enhance and the basic sound (all EQ's at noon, no compression or enhance) is better as well. I like it. Seems well built as well, but time will tell if that actually is the case.

I just sent a question to Eden about the input impedance on the active/passive inputs, because I'm interested to hear if it would be usable for piezo's as well.. I actually tried it with my recently aquired Stagg EUB and it sounded ok - it has a preamp of some sorts, though.

Eden replied that trying it with piezo will do no harm... and that's it. No word about the actual input impedance. It does sound ok with the Stagg, but like I said the Stagg has a preamp so no idea how it would work with a direct piezo signal.

I have to try the DI at some point, if I get any noise while recording. Haven't had a chance to test it live yet.

I'm sure the Eden has a 1M ohm input impedance and will work well with a piezo pickup that doesn't use an onboard preamp. Today, most instruments that use piezo pickups contain some sort of onboard preamp (find one that doesn't) so it is hardly a problem anymore with any piece of musical gear.

The first run of the Eden preamps had the DI noise, I haven't heard of any problems with the latest ones. I bought a much better power supply (see previous post) and my Eden sounds great. I'm thinking of mounting mine on a pedal board with my old Zoom B3 using the fx loop on the Eden along with a compressor and volume pedal.

It does work with the Stagg pretty well and looks like I'll be pairing the EUB to the Terra Nova and my electric rig to an Aguilar Tone Hammer. Unless I get them working in unison (via the loop), which would mean a pretty versatile rig overall. I still have some chaining to do with all my current pedals.

Question to anyone who has one of these: is the Auxiliary In signal relayed through to the XLR DI Out? I'm guessing it's there in the main jack outputs...
