On my pedal the only noise issue I have is the when you press the Pre/Post & DI out level buttons in the back - it "pops", and it's not that quiet of a "pop".
The DI is quiet, and I hear no other apparent noise issues even with the wiring in our house not being from this century. Otherwise it's still a pretty nice pre, IMO. The only thing is that it is pretty big. You can almost fit a couple of pedals, DI and a 4 loop switcher in that same space.. or a BH250 head, which I currently use. So for me it was relegated as a backup.
