It looks like they've gone to a lower profile metallic icon since I had my X7OS a few years ago - that one had a thick sterling (?) casting attached to the headstock. I like this one!

Incredible. I want to do side by side comparisons with my Tacomas but my first impression was that volume was at least comparable, and that was with the Balor wearing Chromes. And it's more ergonomic.

Feels great! I just got home and have to crash without playing it, but I'm hoping on spending some time tomorrow. It's a busy weekend for me which is torture.

Sweet. I figured as much, but just wanted to make sure.
I figured it was a big bass, but seeing that line up picture they put out with yours in it was crazy. These things are beastly. Good thing I'm 6'4!
This is driving me nuts - I've been so busy I haven't been able to spend more than a few minutes with the Balor. I think I'm going to push for acoustic night at practice tomorrow.

Not yet, looks like mine isn't shipping until the 28th. There was a little bit of a wait on the strings I chose for it. I've made it since the end of last August, I think I can handle two more weeks without pacing a hole in the carpet.
