I got a heads up from Chris P Dekker editor-in-chief of De Bassist magazine, who is currently at the NAMM. Two of the new basses that Epiphone announces for the summer of 2017 are already being discussed in the Thunderbird thread (Pro Thunderbird and Embassy)
Thunderbird Club

But this stunning beauty doesn't really fit in there:

It does come with a hefty price tag....
$ 1665

The hefty price tag might be worth it if it's as good as it looks. Not that I could justify buying one, but it sure is beautiful.

Oooh. I so want to put a piezo bridge on one of those... ...wait already has one? hmmm. good thing I just went broke buying something else.

Two thoughts on the Century Masterbuilt : first, the retail price is never the price you pay at the store or on line; second : I wish they (Epiphone) would bring back the Zenith! I own one, and it is a spectacular instrument.
That being said, I guess I'll have to woat until summer to play this new Century, and see if I come down with another GAS attack!

Had both the Embassy and 60's T-Birds, all have been sold long ago(1989) to move to Texas.
Very happy I didn't spend a small fortune for a "real one" again with these 2 coming out!

6 months to accumulate funds.....YAY!
