My dealer contacted me today saying that all the epi t birds they have coming in are all set neck, not bolt on, this is from what Epiphone have told them today, and they have no idea why some dealers are saying otherwise.

My dealer contacted me today saying that all the epi t birds they have coming in are all set neck, not bolt on, this is from what Epiphone have told them today, and they have no idea why some dealers are saying otherwise.
Also a video showing there neck through, but for some reason sweetwater are saying the sunburst are bolt on.
I'm pretty sure they are supposed to be 7 ply neck throughs, NOT bolt-on or set-neck. Passive with real Gibson pickups.
But Sweetwater is confusing things but listing one color as neck thru and one as bolt-on.

Even the photo on Sweetwater's website shows a sunburst with neck through. You know them, pictures of a specific serial number bass, several photos including one of the back of the body. Neck through.

Needs chrome! Seriously, if they did the chrome stylings like they did with the arctic white poly model of the epi standards I'd be all over it.
Thanks. Those pictures are killing me. I have a strong dislike for white basses, but I'm wanting one now. Just like that.

I guess we are just going to have to wait until someone actually plays one of these birds, to get the facts. Too much conflicting information on the specs of these guitars! Sweetwater is saying bolt on/ set neck, they look neck through to me? sweetwater is saying slim taper neck, however, the slim taper neck is 1.5 @ the nut, sweetwater says the nut is 1.73? Pickups, we were told these guitars would have the gibson pickups, sweetwater says epiphone humbuckers. Too much bad information out there! This sweetwater link also says alder and mahogany body? Are there sweetwater people high?
