Ended up with Reg. Slinkys on my "usual" bass on accident when I dropped it off for a setup. Oh well wanted to try them out.

Really shocked when I put EXL170s on my Dad's bass last night and daaaaaamn those suckers are TAUT vs. the EB's. 45-100 feels tighter than the EB 50-105s!

Awesome! Those are the exact kind of string I use, but been using DRs.

Found out about these strings last week. Couldn't believe it till I bought a set. Slapped them on a Sterling, sounds good for what they are but they feel taut compared to the Super Slinky set. May need to stretch them out some more for a week and see what they're like.

Any thoughts on these? I picked up a pack this afternoon but put a fresh set of Sunbeams on my P the other day.. so it’ll be a minute before I give these a go! Interested to know if they have a healthy tension, etc.
