I saw a price somewhere, now I can't find it. They are about 2X regular string price.

Enamel coating is intriguing. The other long-life brands I have tried (and didn't like) went for the plastic type coating. I thought the DR coated strings were awful, and the Elixirs just a little better.

I'm definitely looking forward to trying these. I currently have stainless steel lo riders which sound great but I always thought Slinkys sounded best on my basses but they have a very short life. If these deliver, then the problem is solved.

Anyone know when these will be available? They ran a full page ad in BP Magazine... I doubt they would buy that ad space unless it was something coming out really soon. Hopefully my Lo Riders can hold up until they are ready for sale.

These definitely look interesting. Hope they sound better than Elixirs.

Love the rust angle they're using. I used to boil strings for years and never had any rust.

I talked to EB at NAMM. I was asking about the coating on these. They aren't like the Elixers. He said they won't peel like Elixers do.

I work at a EB dealer, so I will have to check these out.

Maybe this is a stupid question, but when I think of coated strings I think of strings that also have a different colour. Are these strings coloured?
