I stopped in the House of Guitars in Rochester NY today (right around the corner from my house, I worked there when I was a kid 
) They had both a P and J in Antigua. Yes they are MIM I found the build quality very good as well as fit and finish. Both basses had nice touches like Fender stamped 70's style tuners and nice wood selection on the necks. Fret work was quite good. The Antigua finish to me is greyer than the original 70's that had more of a green cast to it though it is not as grey as pictured in the Fender site photos. I did not plug in either bass but both played well and felt good in my hands. Seriously they are much better built than their 70's counter parts. At this price point I find them a good value. If you crave a Antigua Fender this may be your ticket. I am fighting the urge to buy one.
