New Fender Flea sig.

Looks like the Flea bass by Flea meets Fender Jazz Bass to me, but just pink.

Well it's basically a single H active bass like he's been using since forever. Not exactly a huge surprise. Ever since he's been using single H Stingrays live, then Modulus, then this. It's all in the same ballpark really. Single H, active circuitry, GK amps. He did use a couple of other basses live too (his jazz, spector etc), but really, single H active basses have been his mainstay for decades now.

Yeah he seems to know what he likes. The part that’s interesting to me is that it’s a Fender

Well, makes sense. They did his vintage '61 Jazz signature, they obviously offered up to build him his "live bass". Flea never shied away from a deal (why he probably left EBMM). "Hey man, we'll do you a custom made bass based on your '61 jazz, but we'll put in a single H pickup in the sweet spot, any pup you want, and put in any preamp you want". I'd go Fender too, Modulus is IMO ugly xD

Sure looks like a jazz width in the pictures.
The Jazz at 1.5" and the current Precision standard neck at 1.62 is just an 1/8" difference at the nut. Hard for me to see an 1/8" in most company pics.

The Modulus were easy basses to tour with, his bass tech gets nice stable graphite necks no matter where that bass came from or is going to.
I would guess the reason he stopped using the Jazz on tour is because of neck movement due to travel.
