Modulus Flea bass souls in fender jazz bass shape, along with smaller fender bass headstock and FMIC ask for USD 2K. wow.
I think the bass has interesting specs , and this is what makes it sellable, and not the Flea name ( especially in this 2k range! )
Probably because the neck has 22 frets.
Anyways, cool bass. I had a Flea Jazz, was a nice jazz, but I don't really bond with jazz basses, went back to a Stingray. This is cool, but, I'm not into that color and I do prefer a wider neck than that of a jazz bass. Also, I need pickguards on my P, J and Ray basses xD They just look meh without it to me. I heard Flea live with his CS, and it does sound great. I bet this one will sound nice too.

I'm seriously tempted - not that I really care which artist's name is or isn't on it. I'm a die-hard J fan, I'm starting to collect 22 fret Fenders, and the MM-esque PU and pre make it a bit different. I'll probably save up and wait a year or two for a used one in silver.
