Totally agree. Make a Stingray with a Lane Poor spec pickup and whatever else he wants. Flea played MM for a long time. How did they miss out?

Fender should have branded this "The Flea Dimension signature model" and held off on terminating the Dimension line to see if this would stimulate interest. All the Dimensions needed was one big endorser and Flea was such the obvious choice. In fact I wonder if it is a sealed Dimension pickup in that bass.

Man, this is really intriguing for a lot of players who like their Jazzers and MM's.

If this were to come in a few more pastels besides faded pink, and if that hummer sounds like a MM, this will be a hit.

Honestly, this is what the Flea signature should have been all along . If everyone else can copy Fender pickup designs, why can’t Fender put aMM style pickup in a bass in the Ray position?.
