Decided to add a couple new pieces of furniture to my living room. I think they match the decor nicely. What do you guys think?

Markbass MB58R 121 Pure with a Little Mark 58R. It's a nice sounding rig and it's almost unbelievable to me that the whole rig is under 30 lb. My 74 year old back appreciates that.

I'm with you on amp weights... I definitely don't miss moving around my old heavy combos from the 2000s.

it really Pops against the uniform beige, white and grey motif there. Now, I see a cat toy on the front right, cats and Markbass rat fir don't get along (or get along all too well...) I have to provide an alternative scratching pole and cover the Markbass cabs with cloth to take away the temptation, although the damage is done by a manic kitten on a 2/10 traveler, now elevated and inaccessible. She also climbed the burlap wallpaper walls which was pretty impressive.

Well, the color of the octagon shaped on the drapes are a dark gray the rug under the amp is a light gray and there is dark gray in my floor rug so in actuality it kind of does match LOL

It really nails the je ne sais quoi look in a positive way and begs the "turn me on" theme all at once. I need to see the bass that is missing from the photo which can't be too far away for the rest of the vibe.

Yeah the rat fur is one of the things that I do not like about some brands of bass guitar cabinets. I'll be ordering a cover for the cabinet to keep on it when I'm not using it but in the meantime a few towels seem to work okay.

My cat is about 2 and 1/2 years old now he's got lots of scratch poles and mats and stuff like that around the house but he favors the couch naturally. He's been curious about what it is cuz he's very aware of his surroundings and if anything changes he has to go investigate it.

Normally it would be hanging on the wall behind the amp in between the windows. But since this is a rental if I can't mount anything that requires me to drill into the wall. Most of my bases are upstairs in their cases or on a stand.

In fact the rig was upstairs in the master bedroom. But recent events made me rethink where I wanted to have it located. I was hammering it pretty heavily the other day and somebody was pounding on the front door and I thought uh-oh. I went downstairs and it was the neighbor two units away And she was saying that the bass was very loud and keeping her from sleeping. She was very nice about it she said she's a stewardess so she's gone a lot but it was a circumstance where she was having to fly out to go too a celebration of life for her father and she was having a hard time getting to sleep which I could totally understand.

She explained that the units are triplexes And I guess her bedroom is adjacent to where my master is On the second floor so she was getting a lot of bleed over through the walls. She said if it was downstairs it probably wouldn't be a problem I wouldn't hear it at all then that's why I decided to bring it downstairs. I always try to comply if I get noise complaints because I know that bass really does carry through most structures quite easily.

I do have the rest of my gear upstairs I have a GK Fusion 800s and a GK neo4 single 12 cabinet and I'm just going to leave that one upstairs.

Love it. But it makes the rest of the room appear bland. You might consider yellow and black wall graphics. Tiger stripe?? Maybe get another for the other side of the couch for architectural symmetry and awesomeness. Thinking you bring up a great point of interior design. Hmmmmm……

I think you're on to something. A matching cabinet On the other end of the love seat might be a good idea.

Years ago, we moved into new house and had very little furniture. One thing that was annoying was not having end tables next to the bed for clocks, chargers, etc. I put a single Accugroove Tri-112 on each side of the bed and, voila, stylish (and great sounding) end tables! Served us well for a couple of years that way (although taking them out to play was a bit impactful to the room's fens shui). In retrospect, Markbass cabs would have been a better choice, as the room was painted yellow.
