New Gallien Krueger MB 210 & MB 115

Bob, what about the MB Fusion 500? When's this baby comin' out?
I've a 2x10 cab that desperately needs a bass amp head. I'm definitely in the market for one right now. I don't know how much longer I can hold this GAS for a gb shuttlemax12 but I would really prefer to have the mb fusion 500.

I had to pick up that MB212 several times at Summer NAMM. It is amazingly light! I think Bob may have a real winner, here. 
Any clue as to what the MB212 will retail or street for? It looks like the MB210 can be had for $599, which is pretty damn good for what it is.

I'll let Bob or Brian answer, as I don't want to misquote the price, but I recall being as floored by it price as I was by its weight.
I'm hoping these MB combos are going to be as good for double bass as the original series have been... a welcome update!

that sounds very exciting for those in the market for a bass amp combo. but what about for those in the market for a bass amp head? when's the mb fusion 500 gonna come out?
I went to my local GC yesterday and they had the 115 and the 210. I did not get a chance to play through one, but I did lift them both and they are very light. For those of us that aren't so young, the light weight and the power available are a great combination.
I played the MB115 (200 Watts/ 115 Neo Speaker) at GC Saturday. It is a KILLER amp. It sounds great with a 5 string and is really lightweight. They only had the floor model left and I want one in the box. As soon as it comes in, I'm buying it. Has anyone compared it with the MB210 side by side? This is a great in between amp for my 200MB and 410 rig.
This is exciting to hear! I'll have to drop into the local GC to see if the MB210 is in so I can test-fire it. There's nothing about it on the GC website yet, though. I'm excited to check one of these out!
I just bought the 210 version and i love it but i have a few questions. I realized that it looks different than the ones that are being advertised like the logo on mine is oval not like the regular logo and also the input jacks are on the left end of the power amp and the XLR output on the right end and the ones advertised are the opposite... why is this? Also, will i be able to stack the combo with other cabs?
Details, please. Mostly I need to know how loud this puppy gets in a real-world environment.
Anyone gig with it yet? Rehearse with a drummer? How did it do by itself? Anyone rock it with another cab yet? Which cab? +1 on the stacking question.

Alright guys.. i gigged it, i stacked it... this thing is amazing!!! I did a gig of about 500 people and i was really impressed! It did great againts Marshall half stack and loud drummer with full DW set... sounded awesome through the PA. I also decided to use it last night at a venue of about 800+... the sound guy decided to stack it wit a SWR Goliath III 4x10 he had... it sounded incredible.. although i believe with PA support, it will get the job done all by itself... it holds up pretty well. And i cant begin to describe the tone of this thing! Great slap tone, very middy and has that nice GK growl. Just what i was looking for... and im still shocked of how incredibly light it for its power. I do not regret getting rid of my 1001Rb and 4x10 as this has everything i need. and at the street price its a STEAL!! Its light, powerfull and has great tone. I am very pleased with it. The best purchase ive made on music gear so far....
So, I broke down and bought the 200 Watt MB115 from GC yesterday.
I've been playing it with my Lakland, Fender, Yamaha electrics, and my upright with a Fishman Full Circle pickup. The amp sounds wonderful with all of them, with no disappointment at all.
The 4 band active EQ is very effective and the on/off switch for the tweeter gives you the option of an old school Bassman or the modern GK sound.
It is a sealed box and easily handles the low B on a 5 string with no problem at all. The switchable limiter is very cool, you can't even hear it working. And, it doesn't diminish the sound quality when in use.
It has the best punch of any 15" speaker enclosure that I've ever heard. Sort of like a 10" but with great natural low end character and a lot more depth.
The amp looks totally plain and unassuming but it kicks a**, they should name it the "Clark Kent"
It says Made in China on the amp section. I can't tell if that goes for the speaker and enclosure too but, the overall build quality is excellent.
There is an XLR out, a 1/8" MP3 input for play along purposes, 1/4" active and passive inputs. It has a detachable power cable but no where to store it so, it might be hard to keep track of to avoid losing it.
It bugs me that there is no cover available for it. I'll have to order one from LeCover and give them the dimensions.
Of course, GC threw away the owners manual, warranty card and the box. And there is no manual or technical info posted on the GK site. If anyone has the manual PM me.

ROCK! This is what I had hoped/known when I laid eyes on that thing. (Really it was when I picked it up.) Mind you, I have no need for another amp. I'm buying this one anyway, Eventually. Maybe Christmas.
I couldn't tell - was it stacked at the 500-person gig?
