howdy folks! Just joined the other day, and just ordered my bass last night. I'm a clawhammer banjo player, as well as a guitarist (mostly country) who's recently been bit by the bass bug. I have a Dano longhorn coming soon and I'm pretty excited. This seems like a really great and knowledgeable group, and I hope not only to learn here but also to contribute.

welcome to talkbass congrats - the dano longhorn is a fun bass with a short scale. you'll meet lots of players here who play other instruments as well as bass; i started out on fingerstyle guitar myself.
