First let me say that i'm not trying to start a flame war or an i hate or like this brand post was just in the store today and noticed them unpacking this....

Put these side by side today and played them both through the exact same cab B-410HLF

and i have to say that i was actually fiarly impressed with the Behringer model (after fiddling with each one for a few minutes we set them both on the same settings then I had the guy plug each one in with my back turned as i played the same riff) really hard to tell the apart....until you get to higher volumes....

love em or hate em'

my two cents...

and at $350.00 vs. $699.00

it's not hard to understand why newbies would pick the Behringer

It isn't a coincidence that the main contact for Ampeg at Loud tech was also the same point of contact for Behringer. Do a google search for Kevin Van Pamel.

He has almost the same job at Loud/Ampeg.

You think the new Chinese Ampeg comes out of the same factory now?

probably built side by side...lol

Kind of like the Chevy Colorado, The GMC Canyon, and the Isuzu I280 built in the same plant with the same engines etc....

The Isuzu base model is $4,000.00 less than the GMC base model and $2,000.00 than the Chevy base model they all have the same engines but the Isuzu has a better and longer factory warranty go figure

Like i said love em' or hate em' it was hard to tell them apart and if i wanted the Ampeg Sound and could get this head and and one of their 4x10 cabs for the price of the Ampeg head alone guess which one i would buy ;)
