Just measured mine (the MS model), yeah, the routing on the short edge side is roughly 34 mm.
Sure they'll fit the 5 MS pickup cavities, but the pole pieces might not align properly with the strings passing on top of them, as the pickup installations are slanted. Might be better of with internal magnetic blade/bar style pickups like the ones @KUETSUM shown.
Penn & Teller's old show Bullsh!t had two great episodes on similar themes. One was bottled water, and the other was in a fancy restaurant where they used the cheapest gas station, almost out of date food they could find.
Back to the usual youtube crawl... I found three other videos on the 1505, but the one that's most worth posting is in Japanese of course. Around the 4:30 mark there's a clip of some really good pick playing and the bass sounds fantastic!

I contacted a sales guy directly and negotiated a price that I'm happy with. I'm actually not in a huge hurry or anything. But of course I'd like to get it sooner than later. Also when I get it, if I like it better than my SRMS805, I'll likely sell the 805. I'm really enjoying the 805, though, so I kinda' want to just find out whether I'll be parting with it before I get even more attached to it than I already am (I'm playing the 805 right now, actually). If I don't end up liking the EHB more than the 805...well then I'm not sure what I'll do
I'm happy no body filmed me. It was harder than I thought drilling in metal.
