Just letting folks know, Ian Martin Allison released his 3rd collection of presets this week. I bought them on Friday and am getting to know them.
He's running a black friday sale right now. I'm always impressed with how much Ian can do with these and just how good they are.
Aggie Backline is specifically good so far. Wammy is really fun.

I wish he had samples of them available to hear so one would know what they were purchasing…

You have to dig a little bit, but they're out there. It seems that Ian posts most of his own demos to his Instagram page, which can be a bit of a pain to find (and watch, because there's no video controls)... But he went through his latest collection here: IMA Collection 3 Instagram Reel, and Janek actually does a really nice demo of all of Ian's Collection 1/2 presets here: IMA HX Stomp Presets | Janek Podcast.

I picked up Ian's Modern Synth, Vintage Synth and Signature packs. There's a couple more I might like to try as well, but those can wait for the next sale. :)

5sg.

I like Ian, but $300 for all the presets seems steep to me, and I'm not afraid to spend money on stuff. More than the price of most effect pedals, but you can flip the pedals if you don't like them. He likely has the price higher because people will end up sharing the presets as there is no copy protection on the Helix / HX presets. And if you have to spend $300 to get a $600 pedal sounding good, nah. Oh well, I wish him the best.
