I've been on the forum for a few years now, but have only posted a few times, and don't think I've ever done a real introduction. I play both BG and URB and like a wide range of genres. Most of my background has been in jazz, rock, and a bit of classical.
I'm a student in Philly and hoping to get much more involved this year musically. I currently play in an alternative/indie band. But am really looking for a regular jazz gig (like a casual trio, quartet, etc) and, long term goal, some pit work drool (I've played as a student in a mostly professional pit on two musicals in high school, but nothing really professional).
Feel free to say hi or offer advice, especially if you're local to Philly or the Southeastern PA/Jersey area
