You are welcome. I realised it is a quite a chunk of money and there wasn't a lot of information on them so I've tried to leave no stone unturned for people.
You have my attention. As a jazzist I'm all about the walk but as a mediocrity I fall into a few patterns that have come to bore me. Looking forward to some fresh ideas!
In section one "walking bass lines lessons", the way I'm reading the repeats is to play through the four bars three times, and on the third time through end on the whole note root?
Sometimes repeat brackets still confuse me.

I find the format of the material useful for my study as it permits me to work with only one lesson at a time. The chance I'll print it all to be spiral bound is close to zero, YMMV.
What it appears to me is if you (general you) hold the background to be both drawn to Jeff's material, and the ability to read and understand the material, you're going to do just fine.

Yes, that’s correct. Drilling this stuff is so important. It’s all about reps & time on task. My first teacher in college started me off in a similar fashion, but this is a much more comprehensive system. I’m really enjoying it.
I'm two major bass lines into the book and something has already hit me.
Ascending: 1,3,4,#4,5,#5,6,7
Descending: 1,7,6,b6,5,4,3,2,
Note choices. To my ear, the #4 sounds great ascending, but bad when I try adding it to the descending line as a b5. I've only gotten an inkling of how this program will teach my ears and fingers to hear and make "good" sounding tension and resolution in bass lines and why.

This. I wholeheartedly agree with your sentiment with some of the lines. They use notes I would likely have dismissed as sounding “bad” to my underdeveloped ear. Looping them against an iReal backing track has helped me to appreciate them more. The more reps I do, the more I find myself enjoying the tension and release. Good stuff!
Also, I almost slipped and called these "scales", but I think they are better thought of as four bar bass lines over a particular chord, and I've even taken to seeing each separate bar as a phrase. I suspect the real fun will come when using some of those one bar phrases as approaches to other chords and chord qualities, but I don't want to get ahead of myself.

Ohh. Is there a way to import/export those in iRealPro?
@4StringTheorist I don’t believe there is a way to upload the music to iReal. I think folks are just referring to plugging in the chords and making their own play along chart. I’m only at the very beginning so I’ve just been looping two bars of the chord I’m working on from an existing chart. Let me know if you still have questions and I can try to explain in more detail.

Not certain how, as one who's had the app installed for two years without actually creating a song until now. And very certain I did it the most inefficient way possible. I watched a video to see how to save a song title
Anyone else experiencing this weirdness when they try to print the sheets out? I should add that it looks perfectly fine on the screen.

Strange. That's lesson 23 right? I just printed it to see what would happen, and it came out fine.
That was my take. The vast majority of self-taught joyful musicians I know would benefit tremendously from some academic focus.
Yes, exactly. I sent JPMG a note for their feedback. I did snag it a day early when it popped up so that may be the problem. I’ll keep everyone posted on the event others have the same issue.
I printed one of the earlier lessons and it came out the same as yours. I don’t plan to print anymore as i figured out to annotate them on an iPad. Save a tree!
