New MLaghus basses - WARNING: VERY LARGE PICTURES

I know we all crave good pictures and nice basses, so here's some pics of just finished basses from the guys I have an endorsement deal with...

Mods, don't know if I'm breaking any rules here. Not intended as an advertisement thread or anything like that, since these are not available in the US.

Enjoy

looks pretty Fodera ish to me!

Im not a fan of the tuner disposition, and the fact that the A tuner has to be turned the other way since the string is wound the other way would drive me nuts!

It's the B string.

It does seem unnecessarily odd. The B And E pegs are reversed compared to the conventional position, and the B string is wrapped comparatively backward to the other string on that side.

If it was the only bass you played, you'd get used to it, but it is odd.

Beautiful work though!!! :)

@allexcosta Awesome Basses and pictures, i've seen all the videos from inside the factory, this guy's work are flawless! everything is done there, except for the bridge and tuners! you took those pictures? which camera did you use? That Macro on the B string is Awesome!!

So they are Fodera bodies, with Jerzy pickups, and a Ritter headstock.

Hmmmm...

What's your point?

I think his point is, as seen in the pictures you provided, that a lot of the bass is influenced by Fodera, Drozd, and Ritter basses. I think the basses look great, but there's no denying the similarity. I personally have no problem with it, and would still love to play it, but the association is there.

I see no similarity with Ritter.

It's pretty obvious that these guys got inspired by Fodera. It's been his dream visiting Fodera shop for many years...

Now, believe it or not, first time I saw his new pickup covers I said "Jerzy Drozd, huh"? He didn't have a clue of what I was talking about, since he firmly believed he was into some new design. I showed him the pics and he was like: "are you kidding me?"

This guy never left Brazil. No one knows Jerzy's basses down there. Fodera is huge, though.
