New model from Carvin - retro

Carvin has a brand new bass model, and it's retro in style. At least, that's what I would call it. Jazz Bassish, but still it's own style, passive or active, tons of options as with all Carvins.

I think this is a *very* good move for Carvin - they really need to find a way to make their product stand apart, and this is a *fairly* low-cost offering that could be a good seller...

I'd consider getting one and then changing the p'ups (I've never liked Carvin electronics)

Someone here needs to buy one and give it a thorough review...

They need to 'retro' the old 1979 LB50... I'd consider buying a 'new' LB50 with a birdseye body and ebony board

Very nice.

$800 for a US made bass (with a neck as nice as a Carvin) is a very competitive new option for bassists.
