Please forgive the ropey playing and recording, I just plugged straight into my sound card and went for it. All clips have J-Retro turned on but set flat, pickup blend 50:50.

For most gigs, this is the bass I take. I tweak the amp slightly depending on the room, and that's about it. Minor (very minor) tweaks on the bass gets me through the set.

Well I made a 180 on this...

I should have mine the end of the month but I'm going for the NJ4s (yes the singles) with Audere.

That combo is my favorite Jazz combo right now it sounds musical and cuts like knife.

Ditch the magnetic pickups. Have them put in a piezo pickup under the bridge. That would be sweet and unique!!!

I do like the piezo its pretty cool, but I like it on frettless and this is going to be a fretted workhorse for my new gig.
