New Pickguard for my Lakland 5502

Before I drill the holes, I wanted to see what kind of feedback I can get. There aren't many options for guards for the 5502 and I wanted something more traditional looking (j-bass like). With that said, I had to send in my own hand trace. Also, what color screws would you use, black or chrome? Black matches the bass and guard better, but it has chrome hardware.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Well, this is too late but...I would have ordered it without screw holes and secured in place with strategically-placed double-sided tape. Still doable: just shear off the screw heads and glue into position for a faux appearance.
