I'm trying to fix up a 1998 SR. I'm wanting to replace the stock pickups in them for a more aggressive/punky tone. I also want to go with passive electronics b/c active just sounds "fake" to me. So which pickups would you guys recommend for a bass with an agathis body? Its also a P+J combo.
