New Pickups

I'm looking to replace the pickups in my Yamaha BB404, and I was wondering what you have to say. I'm looking at some EMG active J-type pickups, but I'm still not sure. Lemme know what you think.

I would like them to be active to get a little more punch, and control over my tone. Why do u ask?
