JumboJack - No worries. I don't think you're a jerk at all! I was looking for critiques and suggestions. And yes you're 100% correct. We didn't use pressure treated though because as I said water dosent go past the point we started. We actually just got some heavy rain here on Long Island a few days ago, and everything stayed dry, even with wind blowing. We're going to be siding the open wall also. But if we went to the front of the garage, we would have sealed the floor, sills, pressure treated, etc etc. But yes you're absolutely right. You're not a jerk!
iamlowsound - We'll probably be doing the mudding over the course of a few days. I'm not sure how my friends do it normally, but we're prepared to spend a few days on it. As far as the methods of hot mud etc etc, I'm not sure if that's what they use. So yea both you and JumboJack have valid points. I'm not sure the direction they take though.
chokeslam512 - The beer was there! Probably finished by then haha. We'll have a mini fridge stocked with brews and Red Bulls. As far as the floor goes, we have padding galore, along with rolls of carpeting, an oriental rug for the "jam" area, and about 100 throw rugs we use on stage to choose from for the "chill zone". Haha. Basically the carpeting we're putting down will be covered by decorative throws.
