So if you rotate the headpiece the thickest string won't fit

That would be a limiting factor which escaped my keen eye.

An open question to those who have done the full installs: who has used the uni-block headstock lock-downs and has anybody used the singles when spacing / placement was an issue?

That does take 2 screws each, correct? I can "side-stacking" as 5 have a narrower total profile than the 47 mm uni-block. The downside is this would require 10 mounting screws...the block requires 4.

Correct, 2 screws for each single head lock... Yes you can "side-stacking"

Hi Riis, actually I already have in stock the model with all holes with the same size, I just don't have them with anodization, they are all in raw aluminum
