I feel the same with Gibson and their 50s styled headstocks...

Imagine if TalkBass existed in 1984, and every Fender thread had a bunch of people complaining that the headstock shape was very outdated and why the heck can't they just go "hockey stick" like Jackson and Kramer and all the cool, modern innovative companies. "THE 50'S CALLED, THEY WANT THEIR LUMPY HEADSTOCK BACK"

Now I want a Surfcaster again.

I never cared for them back in the day, but in the last couple years I have acquired a definite liking for pointy headstocks! Picked up three Jacksons in the last couple months, and an old Carvin with an even better pointy headstock...

Actually the bridge is the only interesting thing about this cobbled together from spare parts bass.
It looks like they copied Hipshot’s Rickenbacker bridge.
Edit:which is better than the chinabacker copy of the Rick bridge with a faux mute assembly.
