    Hi all,

I share a rig with my recording studio partner, but we have a gig with each one's bands the same day in november and we have to part ways. He owns an Ampeg SVT-3 pro and I have an SVT-15E. I play in a progressive death metal band and am considering getting a 210 combo or a head with a mid-priced 210 cab to connect with the 15E and play at 4 ohm. While I like the SVT 3 I use, I'm not sure if I'd like some other options better and I have no way to try them together in any shop in Barcelona, my city. Plus, buying in Germany is a lot cheaper but it implies buying a bit blindly. Some of my options are:

    - GK rb-700 / 210. 925€ http://www.thomann.de/es/gallien_krueger_700rb210_ebasscombo.htm
    - Ashdown ABM c210T: 899€: http://www.thomann.de/es/ashdown_abm_c210t500_ev.htm
    - HArtke hydrive 5210c: 666€. http://www.thomann.de/es/hartke_5210c_hydrive.htm (STILL NOT AVAILABLE)

    AMPS + CAB
    - GK gt700 rbII. 579€ http://www.thomann.de/es/gallien_krueger_gt700rb.htm
    - Ashdown ABM 500: 658€ http://www.thomann.de/es/ashdown_abm500_evo.htm
    - Hartke LH-500: 379€ http://www.thomann.de/es/hartke_lh500.htm
    - Ampeg SVT3 pro: 759€ http://www.thomann.de/es/ampeg_svt3pro.htm
    - Second hand Ampeg SVT-4 or Trace GP12 (there are some of each in ebay)

    - Ashdown 210 compact: http://www.thomann.de/es/ashdown_abm_210t_compact.htm
    - Warwick WCA 211 pro: http://www.thomann.de/es/warwick_wca_211_pro.htm

Other recommendations?? What do you think? :rollno:

I have used a 700rb-2 and now a 800rb through one or two SVT115e's. Great combination I agree.
