New Rig idea

GK 2001RBP Preamp
Carvin DCM1500 Power Amp (1500 watts bridged 4 Ohms)
GK Neo 4x12 (1200 watts @ 4 Ohms)

Would this rig be sound good (for hard rock and metal)? Would It be loud enough (venues of 100-200 un-miked, 200-500 miked)? I think the 4x12s will get good mids (which I love) and still create a good low C# rumble (yes it is an odd tuning).

Have the GK700RB-II into the 8 ohm Neo 2x12. If I need another cab, then another 212 or 115.

The 212 is awesome, the 412 would be other worldly particularly at that power level. I used my rig in a Marriott double ballroom with about 300 yammering folks and at 10 oclock on the pre, straight up on all eq and 11 o'clock on the master, there were some that called us way too loud. (Most liked!)

So a 412 and 1500 watts, made in the shade for your spec's.
