New Ritters: Winter NAMM 2008

Jens Ritter has just released pictures on his website of his new basses for Winter NAMM.

As you might expect they are stunning (IMHO!). There is also a very interesting 'spring' string anchoring system 'rolled out' on one of them.
It is a shame the US$ is so weak against the Euro: these babies are a little pricey for those working in US$....oh for the days of parity or better!

There is still one Raptor available so if you have the cash.....!

From experience some of the basses marked sold will probably turn up at Jens' dealers here in the US, so you might get a second chance!

PS: This post isn't intended in being on about the cost of these guitars, so while I admit I have made a comment about the exchange rate(!) please don't post if you're going to slam the high dollar (or Euro!) value of these guitars!
 
This one has an interesting look. I love the color; almost seems to be made out of petrified bone:

I've always found the Raptor design interesting:

I dunno why, but something about Ritter's designs bring to mind H.R.Giger's derelict spacecraft from the first "Alien" movie. :)
