New simpsons!

Ok, I haven't watched the new simpsons episodes in a really long time, but tonight's the season premier and there was a whole new intro sequence! It rocked my world, mostly because it's probably the only time this has ever happened. Unfortunately I didn't see the movie, so I felt like I didn't get what the heck happened.

I am in the same boat as you, long time fan, haven't watched in a while, but am watching this episode now. It is good so far.

The thing is, I didn't see the movie, and I also didn't catch the intro to the show. So oh well. Anyone want to fill me in?

I missed the intro to the show but saw the movie, we need to find someway to work this out

the movie was funny in an early "classic" simpsons vein, seasons 1-8? I'm just talking out my tailpipe... half way through the movie I got a cold chill..."what if some of the lame writers and show productions creep into the movie??" well, they didn't as far as I'm concerned!!! worth the wait...

p.s. haven't seen the new opener yet...or episode...come on Tivo....
