Sweet looking bass
I've always wanted a rosewood P neck with white binding and pearloid inlays, I guess we are getting closer
I don't know why a lot of people are so self conscious about playing Squier. Especially when they keep putting out these awesome Basses. Love my Matt Freeman P.
I like it!
Not to sound old (I'm not), but who the **** is Chris Aiken?
Ain't google amazing?
Getting closer to a white CV 60s P. Still hoping for shell pink and green to make it into CV line.
I know how it works, I was making a point.
Googling his name gets all of 1 hit on the 1st page to an interview he did, which I find funny seeing as he's a got a signature bass. Slapping his name on something will clearly sell more instruments.
Very nice but $500? For a Squier?
I'm diggin' the neck, but I'd lose the mirror guard. Too much white.
Hi, my work computer can't display the Fender site. Could someone kindly post pics and specs for the bass?
So...no relation to Clay then?
No, that's MSRP.
Wish Fender would out put more stuff like the Squire stuff...those white blocks on maple are pretty damn cool....and hard to get unless you like the Marcus bass.
That is the MSRP same price as the CVs which street for $379 or so
I guess Fender is continuing put out a million signature Fender P basses with Duncan(-style) pickups. This one is a serious looker, though! I'd grab this over the Nate Mendel P any day of the week. And it probably costs less than half as much...
Never heard of him but I like it. It'd be a nice companion for my black/mirror Squier P Special.
I dig it!
The Squier '77 Jazz Bass has one-piece maple neck with white binding and white pearl block inlays:
And I found a good pic and some info on the Aiken model here:
I haven't listened to strung out in about 15 years but I do like the look of the bass. Too bad about the tone knob.
I hadn't really heard of Chris Aiken before, but I would LOVE to get one and put the neck on my Sonic Blue CV P.
