Foundations are the latest offering from S.I.T. Strings' line of bass strings. These strings are made with a state-of-the-art core material that creates a string that is extremely responsive to the touch. Designed to be the brightest and most flexible bass string available, The Foundations are sure to become the building blocks of your sound. Available in both nickel and stainless 4 and 5 string combinations.

Can someone please post a review if you try them!

Well, I ordered a set so I guess I'll be the one doing the review.

And these are $15 a set LESS than NYXL's!

:smug:

Since there's a persistent rumor that SIT is/was a supplier of Rickenbacker strings, I'm curious about them. But, if I do buy any SIT strings, they'll almost certainly be flat wounds. Just not a round wound kinda guy... But, yes, I, too, would like to know what people who are round wound fans think of them...

Sit flats have only been around a couple of years... Before that their "power flats" were actually half rounds... Now they are true flats.

I've used SIT Powerwounds in the past and think very highly of them, however I tried the Power Steels, and they were the least bright of all the SS strings I've tried. Big letdown.

I might give them a try, but think I'm sticking with my D'Add Prosteels.

Never tried the power steel but the steel rock brights were the brightest steels I've ever played and held their sound much better than prosteels which would nosedive tone wise in my experience.

^ I may have to try out a set of SS Rock Brights (being I never have), maybe even the new Foundations depending on reviews.

One more reason I like the D'Add Prosteels is the newer set EPS300 for the reason it's a fairly balanced set plus I dig tapered strings; set includes 1076T, 85T, 63, 43, and couples well with their 130T for 5ers.
