New strings spent 3 days in a mailbox, what to expect?

So, per the title, the postman left the strings in my company mailbox (that no one knew it existed), and I pulled them out 3 days later.

The weather has been sunny with some overcast and the mailbox faces the east, temperatures with up to 30C / 86F. I'm worried that it may have gotten too hot in the mailbox.

Has anyone had a similar experience? How hot is too hot to affect the string life?

No, even the ghastly 100+ temps we’ve seen in some parts of the land won’t be hot enough to affect the strings.

What could potentially cause problems would be excessive humidity. However, it would take longer than 3 days for that to cause problems for the strings, and I think most strings come in a sealed package these days anyway.
However, there’s surely one way to find out….

They are not sealed but there was no excess humidity. My only concern is a temperature in a black metal mailbox under the direct sunlight.
But, I'll find out one way or the other as soon as I try them
