anybody got their hands on the new Telefunken DIs yet? I was about to get a countryman 85, but saw the Telefunkens and wondered how they sounded. So, anyone used one yet?

New Telefunken DI

So did I. But you know what it does have? An extra-big-a** Telefunken logo.
C'mon, what's next? I want to see a Lorenz DI. Now that would be retro!
guys, I know this is an old thread, but nevertheless it's first in search and I don't want to make one more.
I own a Telefunken passive DI (albeit a stereo one).
compared to my JDI, JDI is warm and a little muffled, TD-2 sounds detailed and somewhat mid-scooped. TD-2 seems to have more both high and low end than JDI, but less mids.
the other thing when compared to JDI is that somehow Telefunken is notably louder. both are stellar in noise aspect.
overall I like my TD-2 but keeping my JDI as well, as there is no one true sound.
